Hollywood Studios - Boma Dinner - Fantasmic!

I'm trying to put together an itinerary and am wondering how do-able/desirable is the following scenario.
Visit Hollywood Studios from opening till about 5pm, then leave to have dinner at Boma at 5:30pm, then go back to Hollywood Studios to watch the 8:30 showing of Fantasmic?

What are our transportation options to get between Hollywood Studios and Boma? Thanks!

that would be extremely tight. Give yourself a minimum of one hour to be seated eat and get out to the bus area at AKL. Another minimum 30 - 40 minutes for the bus to arrive and get to DHS. Now you are there at 7:00 - 7:10. If it is the only Fantasmic scheduled for a couple of days it will be hard.
You could improve your chances a little by taking a cab from AKL.

The wait at Boma shouldn't be long given the time and you can ask for your check early to further cut down your time. Budget $20 for the cab (cheaper than booking a Fantasmic dinner for the family) and move quickly.

I'd take the cab.

for several reasons:

(1) Boma is AWESOME for dinner. We went last Aug. with our two kiddos, and the food was sooo yummy, and the decor was gorgeous. You don't want to cheat yourself out of such a good experience.

(2) It is a far bus ride, and if the bus is at all late/full, you will be way behind schedule.

(3) If you must go, I agree with TDC Nala, take a cab.
