Hollywood studios after hours vs MK extended evening hours

Our group (3 adults, 1 17 yr old) will be at yacht club in March. For our trip we can either go to MK extended hours or HS after hours — same date. MK after hours is not offered our week. We haven’t been to Disney since March of 2019 so there is a ton of stuff we haven’t seen. We’ve loved after in the past but booked yacht club in part for the ee perk. Which would you pick? Thanks!

MK Extended Hours definitely. It’s free versus $150 a person for extra hours.

@Minniefan100 How did you find the EEH info for March? I didn't think that was released yet. We're going in March and I'm having trouble deciding if I should buy After Hours for HS on 3/27 since I'm not sure if it'll conflict with the free EEH at another park.

Historically Extended Hours have been Monday for Epcot and Wednesday for normally MK.

During the current party season, it hasn't seemed to be as consistent as far as the EEH days and parks go. I'm wondering if the new AH dates will change things as well. But maybe AH won't change things the same way as the holiday parties has and I should just count on an MK EEH being on 3/27. I'd rather save the money but I'd hate to end up with no EEH and the AH tickets being sold out by the time I know for sure.

This may not be ideal since you have 4 in your party - but I’m doing a 3 night solo trip in February and bought a ticket for HS AH. I would like to be able to take advantage of the MK EEH that same day (if they stick to the schedule) so I’m thinking of going to MK for that and then ending the night (until 1a) at HS.

I know I’m missing out on some of the $ I paid for the AH ticket but might be a way of taking advantage of both.

I just received my tickets for After Hours in January. I’m so excited this is my first After Hours event. My DD (21) and I have a four day trip planned, staying at CBR.
