Hollywood and Vine

We usually go to the character breakfasts at 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickey's. We have enjoyed our visits to these breakfasts but would like to try something new in May. We are thinking of Crystal Palace and Hollywood and Vine. What was your experience like at Hollywood and Vine? How was the food and character interaction?

We had breakfast at H&V when we took our parents last year. I have to say that of all the character meals we did that week (and we did almost all), Hollywood & Vine had the best character interaction for our parents. Always around, posing, playing with them - it made for a ton of priceless pics.

The food was very good we thought, but it was seriously loud in there. Fortunately we were in a corner & didn't notice it too much till we went across the restaurant to the restrooms.

However, we're not Chef Mickey or 1900 fans, but we love the Crystal Palace.

We love the CP but we had a very nice meal at H&V as well.
We have A LOT of pictures with Pooh Bear, and it was nice to add some with Minnie and the gang in different outfits!
The food was good at both.

I went to a character lunch at Hollywood and Vine in December, and thought it was one of the better character meals I've ever had. The characters were fantastic, a lot more interactive than at most other character meals. We had an early seating so it wasn't completely full, and each character came to our table at least twice (Chip and Dale came to see us at least four times each). Minnie and Goofy do a little swing dancing skit that's a lot of fun to watch.

I really enjoyed the food at Hollywood and Vine. There was a great selection, and everything was very yummy. I especially loved the salad selections, especially the southwest ceasar salad and the potato salad. And they had very yummy garlic bread as well.

Ditto Tlinden16's post...Holywood and Vine lunch had great character interaction when we went there last year. Garden Grill in Epcot was also good for character interaction when we went.

DH and I did the character breakfast twice and H&V and loved it each time. Very interactive and excellent buffet selections.
The characters are very interactive (full restaurant or not) and did a little skit/dance in the front of the restaurant what seemed like every hour on the hour.

Been a couple of years, but I really enjoyed breakfast at H&V. I found the staff to be very attentive to me dietary needs. Chef even had the pancake mix brought out to me so I could personally read the ingredients. And he did a great job with them too!

Chip & Dale area always mischevious here!
