I see that you can eat at Hollywood and Vine and do the Fantasmic fireworks show. Is this a TS on the DDP or is it extra? Going September 2009 and would like good seats, is this a good way to go? Help me please.:goodvibes

You can do H&V on the Fantasmic package and the dining plan, i credit per person.

Fantas packages usually have very early seating times. The reserved section is to the far right of the show area, but you will be able to see everything. The stadium is built so that there are no really bad seats for the show.

If you want to sit in the center seats, just go wait in line 90 minutes ahead, if it's a busy night. Beginning in January, they are cutting the show back to twice a week, which may impact the lines, etc.

Sept is typically a slower time. Depending on what happens with the fantasmic show schedule though, it may become very busy due to limited number of shows per week

H&V gets some of the worst reviews on the boards. Since you do have some time before your ADR window opens up, keep an eye on the reviews from H&V and that should help make your decision.

Have fun planning:cool1:

Is there a better place to use a TS then just stand in line for the firework?

Fantasmick isn't just a fireworks show, it is a story, complete with images projected on water screens, live action actors, etc.

Last year I ate a Mama Melrose for the package and I thought it was really good. We had been in the parks all day and we were hungry, but I think the food was good and our service was also good. It is a T/S with a menu, and they have a wide variety of Italian themed dishes. If you want to spend the big bucks, Hollywood Brown Derby also does the package, I think HBD is my 3rd fav restaurant in WDW, I have always had good food and drinks there, the atmosphere is upscale. I will be eating there in 2 weeks or so for the 3rd time!
