Has anyone been recently? If you've been ..who did you see?? I'm curious if they still have Leo & June from Little Einsteins. DD loves them. We are going to be at DHS at the end of June. Pics would be great. TIA! :goodvibes

We were there for breakfast last week and both June and Leo were there! They also had Jojo and Goliath as well. The food was really yummy too but my kids, especially the 5 year old was waaaaay more interested in June and Leo! :goodvibes

We had breakfast there in November. The characters were there. They had a great variety in food. Even had chorizo & eggs, tortillas and corned beef hash. My DH was in heaven. :)

I had read mixed reviews about this meal - but really enjoyed it. Food was good - and my DDs got to see June (the main reason we went).

The characters led the kids in a parade & even sang the hot dog song (from the end of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show) with them. Was cute. The kids seemed to have a good time there.

Thanks for the info and pics! :)

Susan~ I got this from allears.net

The buffet breakfast, 8-11:20 a.m., features Mickey waffles, frittatas and fresh fruits and pastries. Lunch hours 11:40 a.m.-2:25 p.m.

we were just there on Friday we had an 815 ADR we were seated by 805am, the characters each visited our table about 2 or 3 times, there was singing and dancing. It was one of our best character meals there. The kids loved it. JoJo even sat down with us for a bit. The place was completely empty i was so surprised. We were done eating and saw each character multiple times about 10mins before rope drop.

Wow, I can't believe all the empty chairs in that picture! We have a breakfast reservation in three weeks - wonder why nobody eats here? My kids love Little Einsteins, but maybe I'm missing something?

We were actually the first ones in the resteraunt that day. We were actually the first in DHS that day - they gave our DDs Tinkerbell pins for being first, you can barely make the pins out on their shirts.

We had 8:00 am ADRs, and it was pretty empty. We headed out into the park a little before 9:00 am, and the place was filling up as we were leaving.

You'll read good & bad reviews for this place, just like any other. However, the morning we were there the food wouldn't win any culinary awards, but it was good & had a lot of variety. We would not hesitate to eat breakfast there again.

In your pictures the restaurant seems to be a "little" empty and that is what I am looking for: no crowds................ could you tell me what time did you take that pictures?

TIA

Our ADR was for 8:00 am. It was nice the way it was. When the kids did the parade & the hot dog dance, it was sweet & unchaotic. We were heading out into the park about 9:00 am and the place was starting to fill up.

Thanks, I must try to wake up all of my 6 children earlier :surfweb:

We went in December. Had an 8:00 ADR, the absolute best time for character breakfasts in the parks. We were done by 8:50, and waiting for the rope to drop so that we could hightail back to Toy Story Mania. While we were jumping in line, my mother had our tickets and was getting us fastpasses. Thank goodness, because later in the afternoon, fastpasses were gone and the posted wait time was 120minutes. :scared1:
We love the characters and food at Hollywood and Vine, you will have a great time.

We ate there in January. Great character interaction! Especially if your kids are into Playhouse Disney. We saw Leo, June, JoJo and Goliath. The other thing that I liked is there a CM who will stand toward of the front and sing and dance with the characters. And of course invite all of the kids up to participate. So, have your video camera ready. They did this at least 3 time while we were eating. We also had great service! We did a 10am reservation, so it was not very busy. And none of us were hungry for lunch.

Have a great vacation!
