I finally got a BOG reservation for our Christmas trip. It's at 6:10. When I booked it, one site was showing Holiday Wishes at 9:00. Now Disney's website is showing the fireworks at 8:00. Will this give me enough time to eat and see the fireworks? Do I need to FP+ it so that I can be guaranteed a viewing spot?

Post the date in question, please.

We will be there the same time and we have reservations Saturday for the dessert party. Disney is saying the fireworks will be at 8, but the park hours located on wdwinfo states the fireworks will be at 9. I'm inclined to trust 9 more than 8. Also, more than likely the park hours will change before you go. I have been there over Christmas many times and I can't ever remember the MK closing before midnight. I personally would not worry, but if you want to be sure you can get the FP+ for wishes; however, I don't think that is warranted.
