Yes, there is such a thing!
You're put in a small group with a tour guide. You have a headset so that you can hear your guide as well as the Christmas music he/she will play. You learn interesting holiday facts about the resort in various parts of the park, you sing Christmas carols (and you forget that the people around you who are not in the tour can't hear the music, just your singing), and you learn all about the many holiday decorations throughout DL. You get to ride on HM with it's NBC overlay and then you will hop on the train in NOS and head over to the Small World station, singing carols as you go. You then get to ride the holiday Small World. BTW, you get front-of-the-line status on all rides
. When you get off SW, you go over to the snack bar near Princess Fantasy Faire and you will be given a big holiday keepsake travel mug of cocoa and a giant MM gingerbread cookie (which is delicious! The ears are dipped in chocolate and the tummy has a white chocolate center). THEN you are led over to a special area of chairs with front-row seating for the holiday parade! It's awesome. Many of the characters in the parade will come over and high-five you and wave. After the parade, we were given a commemorative pin and a special FP for almost any ride.
I think kids would love it, though I went with my sister and not my kids!
With our ap discount, I think it was $47 each. You can get the same discount if you have a AAA card. I plan to go again this year!
For those of you who have done the tour, where was the special seating on the parade route?
Thanks!
