Holiday Slide Mount Progress :: SEE RETURN THREAD!!

My New Years slides are finished. I'm working on completing my Christmas ones.


It was wonderful sitting out on the patio tonight working on them. The wind had died down and it was like 72 degrees until it got dark! Made me really enjoy working on them. Of course, there were some interuptions of pulling wood mulch chips out of the puppy's mouth , sitting back down working on the slides, getting up and pulling the puppy out of the hole he was digging, sitting back down working on the slides, and so on and so forth!!


Mine will be in the mail Monday!

Did you end up using the cornucopia and fruit? I've never seen them used. (Yes, I do have them, but I got them in a kit...)

I'm finishing Father's Day after dinner tonight.. I had errands to run this morning.. book signing for 4H this afternoon... came home and sit down for an hour.. now I need to get other things done..before dinner...

I did, and they turned out really cute!! I ended up inking the cornucopia to make them darker and running over the perforated edges with a stamp pen. Of course I forgot to take a pic but I'm sure Nancy will.

I am just sick.

I just got back from PO. When I got there, I realized envie wasn't sealed.

My Christmas slides were gone.

I have backtracked to find them.. No luck.

Don't know how long they have been out.

I will whip up some more tonight if I can't find them and send these priority in the AM.

I can't even believe this.

I just got more slides cut out. Thank goodness I had some more candy crusted cardstock.

But now, I must go to work.

Father's Day slides are done.. they are simple...but my kids like them...
So, I'm done w/ this swap.. now my real job will begin w/ this swap on Saturday..so I can hopefully mail on Monday... It's fair week...so it's gonna be a busy one..

I'd planned to get to the post office with these on Friday, but didn't get there due to extremely low blood sugar. (can't drive then) It's been pretty bad all weekend & again this morning. I ended up sending them with DH but he forgot to stop on his way in. (He works literally 5 minutes from the house!! How can you forget in that amount of time?!?!?) He's planning to take them over at lunch, but things are pretty busy in the office because he'll be out most of the next 2 days.

DD has an appt for an MRI tomorrow so if he forgets we'll stop mail them on our way down to Philly. I'm really sorry - I hate being at the mercy of his memory because it's notoriously bad when it comes to things that don't affect him!
