That was exactly the kind of look I was after. After all, the menu for formal nights (or for our next cruise one of the formal nights) is Prince and Princess nowadays so I figure I will look like a princess.
Well, it will totally work - first thing that occurred to me!!! :thumbsup2

If I can wear it, then so can you. I nowadays wear a size 22 (down from 26) and I am not exactly a dainty thing. This is custom made to my measurements so should be a perfect fit. Considering this, at GBP90 this was a real bargain as it includes shipping from China via courier service as well.
Flippin' heck!!! That IS a bargain!!!! :yay: And well done on your weight loss, Corinna!!!

I've been very naughty and bought myself another top. I'm not a fan of buying on-line, as I like to try on before I buy, but I saw this in a Joe Browns leaflet and I just had to have it, and it arrived this morning :)

That's lovely, Mandy!!! I am a SUCKER for Joe Browns clothing...
BTW you're not alone in the naughty stakes... ;)

I've been naughty too!!! :teeth:
Had a nice little 20% discount on Wallis stuff (not forgetting 6% Quidco cashback) so ordered...

...2 tops in this design (as shown and a mocha brown version)...

...and a dress for semi-formal night on the Med cruise - it's bright , I know but figured it would look nice with more formal black accessories...

Not for holiday :( but today I bought this for my day out in London on saturday. Wasn't sure what to wear as need to be a bit smart but not too formal. I think it should be okay with black leggings for our hotel high tea, theatre matinee and early evening meal:thumbsup2
It has a nice seam at the back just below the shoulders which makes it fall really nicely, and it's a medium :cool1::cool1:
I bought it from a local boutique "red" which I love, it was a little pricey but I'm sure I'll get loads of use out of it:goodvibes

That dress is gorgeous.

I just submitted the measurements for my formal dress and got a reply back straight away that they have received them and it should take between 30 and 38 days until I have my dress in my hands. I can't wait.

I have been doing some shopping as well yesterday. Our profit share was announced yesterday and it was more than I had dared to hope. So I went into work a bit early and did some shopping on the way.

I know it might seem silly to some of you, but for me this is a big deal. As long as I lived in this country, I have been lusting after a dress from Monsoon, but there was little chance of one ever fitting me. Well, since the end of November, I have lost 20kg or 44 Pounds, which also equals 15% of my total body fat. So yesterday I went into Monsoon on the off chance that they had something that I both liked and that fit me. I did not really expect that I would have success, but I tried on a couple of dresses and they fit me. So now I am the proud owner of two Monsoon dresses and a very happy lady.

I got this in black, but the black version also has some beading at the hem:

and also this one:

I am wearing this one today.

I can't view the 1st dress Corinna but the 2nd one is lovely. Congrats on the weight loss:cheer2:

i totally understand the monsoon thing, i love william morris, and there was a very sexy morresesque dress i wanted a few years ago, very fitted, and i couldnt fit in it...
when i lost weight i found it on ebay and brought it, i totally get the owning a monsoon dress...:cloud9:

I will try again with my Monsoon purchases. They keep updating the website and remove the links.

Loads of lovely stuuf, I have to say I think womens fashion is in a better place this year than it has been for a couple of summers. It seems to have gone back to lovely textures and simple shapes :thumbsup2

Some lovely stuff being bought ladies

I have a wedding in a couple of weeks and just ordered this dress and shoes
