Wow! Havent you all been busy bees spending your pennies - keeping the economy going, eh girls?!?!

I got myself this top from Dorothy Perkins website today (didn't have it in store). We are going out for an informal meal on saturday night - hope it looks okay with white jeans

I love that top! I have been buying a few things - I have bought this dress for a wedding in a couple of months, and hopefully I will wear it on our cruise one night too!

I bought the matching shrug as the wedding ceremony is outside

I never shop in Wallis usually but it really caught my attention (also got 15% off with discount code MVC15)

I have also bought this swimming costume from Accessorize (using it from now so hopefully still ok from December!)

and these sailor shoes from Faith for the cruise (most shoes are 50% in store as they are sadly in administration)

Lovely, lovely clothes, ladies!!! And can't wait to hear about your Med cruise, Corinna - we're doing one in August!!!

June is shaping up to be THE holiday month of 2010 for me!!! DH is on garden leave until the end of July and has decided he wants to squeeze in an extra trip during this time. SO with all this potential action, I've had to re-consider my clothing options - tho' TBH the arrival of the Next summer catalogue didn't help!

Anyway, I bought a couple of tops that were half-price...

...OK this one's a dress but I'll wear with leggings...

...as well as this one from the current catalogue...

All gorgeous stuff, I love the dress for wedding,and the swimmie is cool.

I must be doing too much shopping as I am posting twice in a row. I finally got around to buying my custom made evening gown for the second formal night yesterday. I have gone for this style:

But in this colour combination:

Now I need to get the matching jewellery sorted out, which also will be custom made for me.

That was exactly the kind of look I was after. After all, the menu for formal nights (or for our next cruise one of the formal nights) is Prince and Princess nowadays so I figure I will look like a princess.

If I can wear it, then so can you. I nowadays wear a size 22 (down from 26) and I am not exactly a dainty thing. This is custom made to my measurements so should be a perfect fit. Considering this, at GBP90 this was a real bargain as it includes shipping from China via courier service as well.
