Holiday Minimums

Hi! I am new to the board. My fiance and I are considering getting married at WDW in December 2007. Does anyone know anything about holiday minimums? Are they in effect for certain days, or are they in effect for weeks at a time? Does it also affect the prices, and the food and beverage minimums?

It depends on what day you are planning on having the wedding i guess, im at the beginning of December this year and all my costs dont have any holiday premiums etc.

I wouldnt have thought it would affect the prices, aapart from maybe the DJ?
It may affect what location you get for the ceremony, i was advised that in the build up to christmas they get alot of conventions at the GF,YC,BWI and contempory.

I don't know if things have changed since my wedding (December 13, 2003), but the only increased cost I had to pay was a higher fee for the DJ. I would imagine that the only time you would have significantly higher costs in December would be in the days much closer to Christmas and New Year's Eve. At least that was my experience several years ago--I hope that helps!
