***Holiday Kitchen sent/received***.....COMPLETED!!

Does anyone need a little laugh? I was soooo proud of myself today!! My package was ready to take to the p.o. and I was actually going to get it mailed one day BEFORE I said I would try to mail it. I had an appt. to get to by 1:00 and I was running a little behind, so I rushed out and quickly placed the box on the front seat of the car and decided I would mail it AFTER my appt.

At a stop light, I happened to glance down at the box and suddenly realized.........I had never written the name and address of the person it was being sent to. Can you imagine what my embarrassment level would have been at the p.o. counter when the postal worker looked at the package to determine the postage? No doubt his co-workers would have heard about that wacky woman.....sigh!

Oh well, it's back to the p.o. tomorrow and I promise to have the name and address on the package this time. Honest!

I'm running a little behind on this exchange, I've been busy with getting ready for Thanksgiving, I have everyone coming to my home for Thanksgiving Dinner. I'm hoping to get my package out over the weekend, if this doesn't work than on Monday. I still have some more shopping to do, which I'm planning on doing after work today. I'll post later when my package has been sent, I just wanted to check in with everyone.

I received my package today from Meriweather (Nancy)

I wrote that I love gingerbread men/women and Nancy sent a huge package filled with all sorts of gingerbread items. Here is a list.

A gingerbread Plaque "Holiday Recipe for Happiness" this is so cute.
Hallmark Keepsake ornament "All through the kitchen" it is a green oven mitt filled with all sorts of kitchen utensils, can't wait to put up a tree to hang this on.
A plush scented gingerbread man (dressed in an apron and chef's hat).
An 8 pack of various holiday cookie cutters.
My very own lime green Dis pin with my name on it
Gingerbread shaped wrap & ribbon holiday shears.
a Holiday gingerbread man shaped zip type bag filled with assorted candies (yummy).
Gingerbread man salt & pepper shakers.
Gingerbread boy scented hot pad (I think that I will use this tomorrow for Thanksgiving as I will be making gingerbread for one of the desserts)
Yankee Candle votive (gingerbread scent).
Set of 4 gingerbread house fabric placemats.

Nancy, Thank you so much! I am going to enjoy every item in this package. You really went above and beyond with everything that you sent.
