Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort

Has anyone stayed at this resort? We are booked for next month, me, dh, dd 8 & dd 6. Can anyone share info with me? Is this a good choice for us?

There seems to be a wide range of replies for this in the past posts. I was there Dec 27 to Jan 3, 2003. We loved it. Clean, safe, has mircro/frig/coffeemaker and blowdryer in each room and VCR. Our rooms were clean and housekeeping was great. It is close to the back entrance of disney and it was great and worth it. We saved alot of money staying here! Great rate on Hotelkingdom.com and saved on breakfasts, snacks and leftovers in the room.
The pool was well used at night. The kids said it was heated but 40 and50 degrees was to cold for us to try.

Thanks for the report Disney Chick2. I got a really great room rate by booking the stay a night get one free promo. Now I feel better about trying this hotel.

If you aren't a Priority Club member, be sure to sign up (you can do it on the website). When we stayed there several years ago, we were upgraded to a suite (I did have to ask though).

There were some other perks too (I remember getting a free beeper when my DD stayed at the Kid's Club there. She loved it and had a wonderful time.).
