Hi

Has anyone stayed here? We are flying in at 6am the morning before we cruise and we got this on Priceline. It gets very mixed reviews on TripAdivsor so just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience.

Thanks
Jenn

You already paid for the hotel so make the most of it. I'm confused are flying in the morning of the cruise and are booked the room to have a place to shower.

There isn't a lot to do by the airport and I'd only book there if my flight was getting in at night and I just wanted a place to stay. In your case I'd have gotten a hotel near the Port. You could spend part of the day at the space center or the beach.

No, we are flying in on a Fri morning and leaving on the cruise Sat. morning. We live in Wa and we have a 2 hour drive to the airport and then fly all night, so we'll be up for 24 hours by the time we arrive. The kids may snooze a little on the flight but as a rule, they don't. Last time we took a redeye, we rented a car and drove to the port on our arrival- couldn't get early check-in when we arrived, so had to wait around for a couple of hours. We were delirous, toast. By the time, we checked in and slept, there was time to get up, eat dinner, have an evening swim, and not much else.

This time, I was able to priceline 2 nights (the night before our arrival) so we can get off the plane, shuttle to our hotel, and get into bed and sleep right away. Then later, one of us will shuttle back to the airport and pick up our van. We have ressie's for O'hana's that night, probably swim that afternoon and get a good nights sleep and drive to the port the next day. Also, then only need to rent van for one day and got 2 nights hotel for $100.

Sorry so long, but that's the plan!! :)

I stayed there for a night in Dec 04. It was an older hotel in fairly good shape...looks like it could use some updating, but it was not in "disrepair". We stayed at the Entertainment rate and paid $55 per night (private access floor with a continental breakfast). The pool area looked decent but we did not use it as we stayed after a late night flight and went the next day to the Dophin. I would summarize by it was older (early 80s furnishings) and because of that did not have a new sparkle clean look but did not feel it was actually dirty.
