We used Price line and got Holiday Inn Select at the airport. I had to bid 3 different times. I, also, was hoping for the $28 hotel but I am glad we finally got this. We are flying in the day before our cruise. Has anyone stayed at this hotel? Do we just call from the airport and wait for the shuttle? Thanks again for all of your help.

I just did a search to see if anyone had any reviews or feedback posted about this hotel. I just got it through priceline too. I ended up bidding $39. I had been starting at $28 and working my way up to $38 for a few weeks. Finally, I decided to try $39. I had been watching mco bids on biddingfortravel and the lower bids seem to 'win' when it's closer to the travel date. For our last trip, I got the Renaissance for $28 about a month in advance. I am too impatient and wanted to get it settled so I could get my ground transportation squared away, so I bid up a little higher.

Now, I have been wondering what the Holiday Inn Select is like. I am not leaving until the end of January, so if you are back sooner, please consider posting about your experience!

Thanks! :wave2:

We have a room booked there in 2 weeks via Priceline also. We stayed there 1 night last year (same situation...late flight in, needed a cheap room near the airport to sleep before starting WDW vacation)...sorry I don't remember more about the place...our flight was late getting in (after midnight), I called the shuttle on the courtesy phone by baggage claim and they were there in 10 minutes or less, we checked in without a bit of trouble (i had called the hotel to request room with 2 beds, NS and let them know it was a late arrival), we were in the room less than 5 minutes after getting out of the van and I think we had everyone in bed and the lights out about 15 minutes after that!!

The lobby area was very nice. The room we were in was large and very clean, I remember being pleasantly suprised when we walked in (I am not usually a big fan of Holiday Inns) but beyond that I honestly don't remember much about the place. My daughter commented on the towels being very nice and thick (she's the shower queen, and remembers such things).

I got up fairly early the next AM, showered and rode the shuttle back to the airport to pick up our rental car (the shuttle runs on the hour and 1/2 hour in the AM's as I recall). I just happened to walk into the lobby as people were getting on the shuttle so I had no wait again. I got the car, came back to the hotel and picked up the rest of the family that were now up and almost ready to go....breakfast smelled great, but I didn't stop to eat. My youngest had wandered out to see the pool and sid "it looked OK...just a plain pool"

All in all I was not sorry we got this hotel again this year for our overnight. When you just need a place to sleep for a few hours I just wanted clean and good shuttle service which we got at a very reasonable price. I will post a quick review this year when we get back.
