Holiday Inn Open date

Does anyone know when the Holiday Inn in Orlando will be opening? We have reservations for mid October. I was just wondering if we would be staying there.

If this is the holiday inn in downtown disney - the answer is no. All of us who have reservations have been receiving calls to either cancel or go to Sheraton Safari. Talking with the GM of that hotel, they do not see opening until 1/1/2007 at the earliest. So I doubt very much you will be staying there. I would make other reservations to make sure you have someplace if you don't want to do the sheraton safari.

I would chase this up - My Holiday Company have moved me and I am advised earliest opening will be Jan 07 (think the hotel could have been grounded and built from scratch by then!)
