We stayed here some years back, our first trip to Disney. We enjoyed the hotel and the location was great for non-Disney related time (ie Old Town (little shops and a carosel for the kids), souviner shops, fast food. It's pretty much your typical Holiday Inn with a few perks. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bus ride over (a charter) was ok but very crowed and I don't like to come and go on a schedule but it beats paying to park. We have also stayed at Disney All Sports and also Music. No comparison. I would stay at Disney if the rates were even remotely close. The resort is newer, better kept up, extremely kid oriented, fabulous friendly staff, and the bus ride was much much shorter. The buses run continously all day every 10 minutes or so and you can come and go as you please. If I couldn't get into the Disney All Star Resorts, I'd book Maingate East, but All Star gives you a true Disney Magic vacation. Just my experience, but there you have it!
