Dont know if this has been mentioned on your boards before but...

We usually stay the night before (and after) at the HI central. You can usually pick up a room for a deal (this jan we paid £46 ) kids have free full english breakfast Adult i think is £8.

However you can leave your car there free of charge for a certain number of nights..I think this is five, we always check this when we book, but so far you get so many nights parking with a overnight stay.
They do offer a Eurostar package which comes to I think £105 last time I checked , which included parking , taxis room etc ...but you dont need to pay this much.

Check current terms and condition on the web site , but we pay for the room and breakfast , book a taxi for the next morning when we arrive (it is always prompt) on a mixed ride of red and green lights usually it takes us 10 /15 .
mins from Holiday Inn to Disney Lift at Eurostar and costs £5/6 .

Just thought Id mention it as another DIS user on another thread was mentioning that Premier Inn charge £5 per night.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooo
did u read my mind???

had seen suzis post about leaving car at premier travel inn and paying - now this method seems better ;)

so - if we stayed a tues night, left car there weds, thurs, fri & picked up sat night - it wud be free??

how far to station and how much does it cost??? lol just seen u put prices lol

gettin curious now!

We stayed here in jan and did just that - had a good night's sleep, a nice hot breakfast and then a taxi at 8am!It was a nice atmosphere at brekkie as i think everyone there was heading off to disney, including the cm's who were doing the disney express check in at the terminal!!

We also decided to stay on our rtn from dlp which meant having another relaxing sleep, another hot breakfast and a leisurely drive home the next day!!:goodvibes

In total, we paid £79 for 2 nts b&b and 5 nts parking!

Hi scamp bunny was hoping you'd see this ...didnt want to hijack Suzis trip thread

Yeah pretty much we stayed Mon night left Tues , wed, thurs, friday came back Sat ..though we also stayed sat night too. double check online but when i read it most recently 5 days parking. I always verbally say what I am doing when I book over the phone too....

On the way back we have never booked a taxi and we have been lucky enough to be amongst the first from the train and there has always been one or two taxis waiting. However I am sure you can book your return also.

Lizpat, the brekkie is nice isnt it? When we checked on 06.01 the cast member recognised me from the hotel at breakfast ....and then we were upgraded (I am sure this was not because our eyes meet over cornflakes :lmao: ) oooer your price was better than ours !!! that was including breakfast!! we may have booked too early , saw the offers in the Mail.

The only down side to the HI was on the way back we had by then been used to the DLH bedrooms sigh. Them tiled floors in the bathroom were darned cold, DLH must have underfoot heating :rotfl: What spoilt brats we were by then !!

We booked quite early, but HI are always doing good promotional offers on their website. I just kept checking, and when our first night was showing at £34, i booked!!I'm well known for sniffing out a bargain when it comes to hotels!!(prob just got too much time on my hands to search them out!:rotfl:

sounds good!!

just checked - online it wud be £62 per night, and says up to 4 nights parking - so not sure if they wud stretch it if it was tuesday night to saturday night inc! wud be nice to have a nice sleep before the drive home on a sunday morning!!! (espec as friday night wud have been a late one!!)

will have to keep an eye out on the prices, as we did get a cheaper price of £50 at the eurotunnel holiday inn - so that wud be good!!!

just need to find out if euorstar will do deals for october, as dates only til june/july (do they do deals??) have registered for their newletter lol

if you ring central reservations then ask what the 'leisure saver' rate is.Think the current one runs out this week, so imagine there will be new 'spring rate' next week! This is usually their promotional rate and includes breakfast. Re the parking, just give the hotel a ring and ask - they were very laid back about it when we stayed and that had totalled 5 nts, but we found all of the staff there very friendly.

Hi

I have just booked the "eurostar special" for Holiday Inn Ashford. One nights B&B for family of 4, car parking and return taxis for which they order and give you a voucher - £87 - thought that was a good deal and a nice start to holiday at Disney.

:cheer2:

hi, the eurostar deal also includes a 20% off voucher for any food and drink bought at the hotel too, which for a family of four can also add up!! Def a much more relaxing start to the holiday, meaning you're not so tired for the rest of the day in the park when you get there!!
