Just wondering if this would be a good place to base our stay out of. We will be doing all of the typical touristy things.

I don't suppose there are any budget hotels around Westminster Cathedral that are nice (and affordable) are there?

Thanks in advance!

There's a Premier Inn at County Hall which is just across Westminster Bridge and not too far from Westminster Cathedral. I've never stayed there but I've heard good reports.

I have and it is in an ideal location for tourists and not too expensive. I think it would suit your needs better than Camden imho

It's one of my mums and I's favourite places to stay in London...

But I'm not sure how it would work out on a touristy level... We usually go for gigs and stuff.. But love it..

It's about a 5 min walk to the Camden tube station (about 10 mins when the markets on), on the Northern Line, though there's also busses, it's pretty easy to get places..

It is near pleeeenty of Bars and Restaurants, and you can always visit the markets and stuff...

Mum said to not get a Lock view because although its quite nice it's also pretty noisey.. I myself don't remember the noise, just the lovely view.

The breakfast is pretty good too! It's a buffet with lots on offer continental and cooked.

We've stayed there many times, and I always enjoy my stay. :goodvibes
