Hi All!

I'm trying to schedule a Birthday Weekend at Universal for my DS in July, and I am working with a budget. Has anyone stayed at Holiday Inn at the entrance? I would love to hear about anyone's experiences both good and bad.

Thank you for all of your help!!

We stayed there 4 years ago. We had a 2 BR suite, and it was cheap...... and slept up to 10 I think, we have 6. Full refig and kitchen, living room ara between the 2BRs, and it was in the "new wing". Pool small but clean....... we felt the place was fine, used Entertainment book to get best rate I think. We also got free meals for the 4 kids while we were there, so we ate some breakfast and some dinners there. (not sure if that kids eat free thing is still in effect)

We have stayed at Holiday Inn 3 times - last time 4 years ago - and found it to be OK at the time. Nothing fancy, but basic, close and clean - we were in the parks till late at night, too tired to even use the pool! Definitely try for Entertainment rate and compare to Loew's for FOTL access- don't know how much the savings are now and if the difference would be worth not having FOTL - we stayed at RPH last trip for 109.- and will always try to stay on-site now. Have also stayed at the towers (Radison?)across the street and that was nice, too.
