For dinner that night we had a reservation at 7:30 for Ohana that CL had booked for me 6 months in advance. I had not been in 2 years and over 3 for my DH. The lobby was still under construction at the Poly but did not effect the ambiance of the restaurant and lounge.
We grabbed some drinks at one of my favorite lounges The Tambu Lounge! I had a Mojito and my DH and MIL had the Piña Colova, all were delicious. When they called our name we were seated way in the back near the front. I was sooooo disappointed that I asked if we could wait for a table in the main dining room. 15 minutes later we had a table by the window with perfect view of the castle.
The welcome bread was good and I knew to ask for the salad thanks to the boards and I was phenomenal! One of the highlights for me. I was the only one that tried the lettuce wraps. PF Changs has better ones. The wings and potstickers were good as usual. My FIL stated the pork was the best he had ever had, the star of the show for me are the shrimp. I could twenty of them I swear! The beef was juicy not all dried out as with past visits. Dessert was good as always. Overall service was excellent and can't wait to return! As with Ohana you just never know what you are going to get
