Holiday Indulgence- A Delicious Food TR! Sanaa and Final Thoughts

Following that was a huge breadbasket there was no way I can finish all of it. It included sourdough bread and a cheesy focaccia bread. Both my incredibly delicious!





What's nice here with your lunch you can either get a cup of jambalaya or a salad. I had the salad that was tossed in a creamy vinaigrette, with blue cheese, pecans, and cranberries. It was amazing.



The star the show for me with the jambalaya this is my third time having it and it was delicious. If You like spicy this is your dish.





This meals one of the best I've ever had any Disney resort and can't wait to return!!

Mmm, I remember that jambalaya for our honeymoon to Disneyland 8 years ago. It looks just as wonderful as I remember.

I love the Blue Bayou but I'm so sad since they took the crab cakes off the menu. Those were the best! I wonder if they can make this jambalaya without sausage, although I am also a wimp when it comes to spice...

The next day we had lunch at DHS. I know the CS isn't the greatest there but back in May I discovered the Pizza Planet. I really like the place and we all enjoyed sitting outside. Three of us had the meat lovers pizza and my MIL had the meatball . They all come to with a delicious side salad. We all liked the pizza, but the sandwich was dry.












The cupcakes are soooo amazing here. They are huge! We actually gave one away to a family sitting by us. These were adorable for Christmas.



I really like this place and will return.

I've always been so dismissive of mgm food I'm general I've never given pizza planet a chance. That meat pizza looks great though. Will have to try that next trip

Our next dinner was at our beloved Yachtsman Steakhouse. This was our fourth trip to this lovely restaurant and my inlaws first time! I started out with a blueberry moscow mule. Holy moly this was soooo strong it was gross. It took my an hour to finish the darn thing. I have decided I am not a fan of the mule drinks, however I recieved my monies worth with how much booze the bartender poured in. I do like that copper cup though!

Our server started out very professional and nice. He brought us the yummy seal salt butter, roasted garlic, and some of the most delicious rolls on the planet. Alexander wore his finest Ralph Lauren Onsie for this special dining exeperience! He was such a good boy throughout the meal. My father in law had the NY s strip with the twice baked potato, myself and my MIL had the filet!! My DH had the ribeye. The steaks were out of this world good. However our nice server was MIA from now on. He never came by to how everything was, tea glassess were left empty. We ordered our desserts and he didn't even bring spoons, we sat there a good 10 minutes before we could flag someone down for spoons. Good grief Back to the food I had a chocolate cake sampler, that was very good. My MIL had the creme brulee, which she said was perfect. My DH and FIL had bowls of gelato that offers 3 different flavors. Overall the food was outstanding, but service was a flop. Should we have complained, maybe?! However one gets tired of people not doing their job and especially on vacation who really wants to complain. We will go back the YM, but next time I going to request a good server as some of our fellow disers have done in the past.

We were so glad to see you guys! Alexander and I went 3 days in a row to DL and had the best time. We plan on coming back for the 60th celebration.
