Holiday In Maingate East / Halloween

HI, We are planning our first trip for Halloween. I already have the tickets for the halloween party ? I can't make up my mind on the hotel. TOO MANY CHOICES.
I had thought the Holiday Inn Maingate East seemed the best idea because it had the 3 day park hopper passes. How is this hotel ? How are the Kidsuites?

Also how busy are the parks the week of Halloween. We will be arriving on the 27th of October. Also, how should I pack. Will we need shorts in the day and jeans and long sleeves at nigth?

You might want to check out the postings regarding Holiday Inn maingate East. I am going in November and have resv at HIFS. I changed my resv from Maingate East to HIFS after reading these message boards. I hope you have a great trip!
