Holiday events at Studios and AK?

Making plans for a short visit this December. We've got MVMCP and the Candlelight Processional handled, as well as touring the different resorts, but not sure about Studios and AK. With Osborne Lights gone, has anyone heard of anything special going on at the Studios? And does AK do anything special for the December holiday season?

Thanks for any suggestions and ideas!

Nothing has been announced. I expect just holiday decorations around both parks and that's about it. AK used to have the Jingle Jungle Parade but that also has been taken away

As of right now there aren't even nighttime hours scheduled at AK or Star Wars fireworks at HS. We are staying club level and reached out to the itinerary planners and they said nothing is scheduled for them past Sept and we should hang tight. Which is making planning really difficult! It is really hard to know where we want to go on each day when we don't know what days if any might be open later or have great fireworks elsewhere!
So I guess, we keep waiting!

That's my thoughts, exactly. Want to make plans and schedule ADR's, but uncertain what to expect. As for HS...one would think that since the powers that be knew a long, long time ago that Osborne would be gone after last year, that they would be promoting something to generate interest in that park.... frustrating, but so Disney.

we too were looking and hoping for something at AK and HS...have had our traditions and now with Osborne gone, traditions are needing a tweeking. all in all we love xmas at Disney, love all the parks-thought they would have soething to grab peoples attention.... we are trying to convice friends that HS is a park they don't want to skip on their trip in Jan, but it is really getting hard to do with all the changes and closures over there

I would also really like to know if the Star Wars fireworks will continue into December. We're going Dec 12-18 (arriving Monday night) and right now, our schedule for viewing night shows is:
Tuesday - Illuminations
Wednesday - Wishes
Thursday - Holiday Wishes (but from the Poly beach, where we're staying)
Friday - Fantasmic/Star Wars (pending schedule)
Saturday - Wishes (we have a 9:00 ADR at Cinderella's Royal Table)

If Star Wars fireworks aren't happening, then I will definitely be switching Friday out to attend MVMCP or AK at night (if it's open at night during that time, of course). We're okay with missing Fantasmic.
We're not really into Star Wars (actually, neither of us have seen any of the movies ), but we've never seen that show before and both enjoy fireworks/nighttime shows, so we definitely want to see it if it's happening.
