Ok, got home to two packages. One was the final pin from an ebay seller - hurrah! So my last exchange will be on its way tomorrow and will confirm once this is so. Thanks for your patience!

The second was a wonderful exchange from DJT Thanks so much! She was super generous and sent three pins:

SNF stands for 'So Not Fair' and it made me laugh! So very Tink and her little pout is precious

This is now the second of these 'Pixie Dust' pins I've received and they are so neat


The final one is the King of Hearts from Alice in a stopwatch. I was really excited to receive this as I am a huge Alice fan and Alice pins are one of my major collecting themes. I have three others from this stopwatch collection. Sadly, when I went to pin pics to check it out and see how many there were left in the collection for me to find I noticed a warning on the pinpics page about there being fakes of this pin about.

Unfortunately it seems this is a fake as it says it is '2 of 8' on the back and it should just be '2 of 6'. Honestly if pinpics didn't have that info I never would have known, it looks so perfect!

DJT I know you wouldn't have even known about this and believe me when I say I still love the pin - its super cute!! I have put in my album all the same. Just wanted to put the info up here so people can be warned to look out for this when trading. I've put a link on the picture below so if you click on it you'll go through to Pinpics and can see the warning I'm talking about.

I love the Pixie Dust pins. The one you got is the one I need. I actually traded for it a few weeks ago at Disneyland but I gave it to a little girl on the Monorail. DBF and I wanted to sit in the nose cone but there was alrady a dad and his son and daughter waiting. They must have heard us talking about it because a few minutes after we got on the little girl poked her head in out car and said there's room for 2 more. That was so nice of here so I let her pick a pin off my lanyard. DBF let her little brother pick on off his.

It is sad that we have to be aware and watch for the fakes....so hard to tell on a lot of them, but I have run across that warning on pinpics several times.

Fakes must be all over. But sometimes I wonder how many are fakes, and those perceived as fakes. (Not that there are not scrappers, etc.)
Rarely can you tell the difference. I did trade for one off a cast lanyard recently and would not have realized it was a fake without Pinpics also.
It is the Tink head in a silver snowflake. And once I read the description, the pin is not stamped out as well as the others in the set.
As long as it remains in my collection though, I really don't care.

Glad it finally arrived. It took forever. The other 3 I sent got there days ago. Yours has been sitting in NJ for a few days and then in NH since Friday

I couldn't find that pin trading one on pinpics either. It is one I got on this last trip. Lots similar, but not with the purple sash.
