....I know, I know - it looks AMAZINGLY similar to the tree at AKL; I get that a LOT.....[ ]

...sure, no problem....

...don't pay no mind to all those people - they're my, uhhhhhhh, NEIGHBORS....yeah, that's it - my neighbors came over to check out my tree.... !!

Wow, where did you find the furniture to match AKL???? How nice of you to have your "neighbors" over every year for Christmas .

To cute. Ours thankfully lasted. We purposefully got a smaller tree cause if we had a big one well Cleo would have been at the top.

Although we always know when it is time to take the tree down when the cats start trying to knock it over.

I bit the big one and started decoratng this year. So far I spiffed up the lamps, and put up Christmas town. So time for pics:

I absolutely love this thread - it is so fun to see everyone's holiday decorating preferences...! And the snowy photos actually have me looking forward to our normal white Christmas. We're getting a new tree this year and will start the decorating soon so I hope to be able to contribute my own photos.

And Ericamanda - your Mickey wreath is amazing! Thank you for adding the directions...DS will love to help make and decorate one for our house.

and this was last night when we put the Disney Lionel train under the tree. We have had this thing for 3 years and never put it up so we thought the kids would really get a kick out of it.

and they really did enjoy it... here are a couple I snapped of them last night with the train/tree.

and lastly- here is my fave from last year. I took this just before Christmas and loved the feel of it.

Ok, hopefully that was not TOO overboard.

How do you get garland above cabinets not to look tacky? I tried to do garland on the cabinets around the edge and it looked tacky and crappy how do you’ll do it?

Absolutely love the photos of all the decorating you folks have done, but just looking at all that hard work is exhausting me!

I used to be the same way when I still lived in my own home, but no more.. Phew!
