Definitely my work connection blocking results. But not with an error, just a message saying no vehicles available. How strange, presumably to stop people in Europe using UK prices.

Very strange, I'm on a 3g connection which frequently identifies itself as being in the netherlands (something to do with the way Three broadband works) I wonder if I'm being blocked.

I'll remote a home PC and try the same thing there.

That's your problem, just disconnected and re-connected via my Three Mobile Hotspot and got this
"Sorry we couldn't find any available vehicles for the chosen date/time"

I'm looking for a good deal this year for a 7 seater but similar to Wayne we received Hertz Gold Treatment service last year and, Oh My, how easy does it make the collection process ??

So tempted now to pay the extra and go Hertz rather than the cheapest option.

No Hertz sale yet though for our dates, I am torn, should I book today or wait and hope Hertz have another sale? Hertz are about £100 more for the 16 nights I want.

We're in the same boat. An extra 155.00 for us for a 3 week rental.

I booked 2 cars with Hertz last year:
First I booked 15th Nov 2012 for collection 2nd Apr 2013 CDP Hertz Europe Ltd, 30% discount. 14 nights 7 seater full size SUV £266 less Quidco

Other I booked 21st Sept using Discounts:CDP HERTZ SEP 2013 GLOBAL SALE WEB collected 10th Oct so that was a last minute deal I found with 20% discount. 9 nights midsize SUV £153 less Quidco

No idea if there was another between these though.
