There are NO dumb questions.

AP = Annual Pass

Deluxe rooms have a fridge and a micro, standard have a fridge.

If you have AP's then you can use it for up to 50% off of rooms at HoJo. The Entertainment Rate and the AP rate dates are available at the same time. So, if you have an AP, don't worry about the Ent. Card. Just use the AP. I think that AP holders currently get 20% off, if the Ent. rate/AP rate is not showing for your dates.

Here is a link to the AP part of the site - but if you look carefully, you'll see that it is the same as the Ent. Rate part.

Yes, you get a 20% discount with an annual pass.

You can find out what code your room has and see what ammenities are with that room. Off the top of my head, I know that deluxe rooms have microwaves and a fridge, while standard rooms just have the fridge.

You are correct....I should have clarified that even though her dates aren't available at that rate right now.

I'm not sure where you read the reviews, but it is one of the most popular hotels with people on this board.

I read the reviews on Tripadvisor, so it scared me! lol

But I just booked it for this Saturday and got an awesome $59 AP rate so hopefully it wont be too bad.

Thanks again for all the help. I finally have my reservation! They didn't have any suites available, so we have 2 queens w/ a rollaway.

We paying $8 more to get a deluxe room w/ a "pool view" in building 2 vs. a standard room by the freeway in building 1. Was that a good choice? Building 2 looks like it's a lot further away, but the reservations agent made it seem like the freeway noise might be an issue in building 1.


I got my AP holder discount and we're paying $103.20 (plus the rollaway. This time they told me it was $10, not $15. LOL) Not the smokin' deal that it COULD be, but I'm pretty happy with that! Much better than what the Paradise Pier was at this time.

If anybody happens to notice if they add more Sept. dates for the AP holders, lemme know!!!

I didn't see very many negative reviews on Trip Advisor....I only saw a few that mentioned the freeway noise, but that shouldn't be a problem with the room that you have booked. Was that your main concern? The overall rating that I saw on Trip Advisor said that the hotel was recommend by 90% of the people who had reviewed it there. I was one of those people who was initially hesitant to stay there, but I finally did because of the praise on here. Now, it's our first choice in hotels and we love it there. I'm glad that you're giving it a try.

I would absolutely pay $8 more for the deluxe queen rooms, those are our favorite! Building 2 is further back, but in the grand scheme of things, it's only an extra couple of minutes.
