Is the view facing Disney worth the extra money.
Also is there that much of a difference between premium rooms and the other rooms.
Thanks for all of your help
I am in major planning mode. I am excited because we didn't think we could anywhere for Spring Break.:cool1: :cheer2:

We stayed in a premium room early last month and we had a wonderful and perfect view of the Matterhorn. (Pics are in my TR!). But I have heard that some of the premium room views are blocked by trees. So I think it depends what room you get it.

We stayed in a premium room last summer and I thought it was worth the price. I haven't stayed in a standard room, so I really have no comparison LOL but out beds were VERY comfy and the view was great! :thumbsup2

FWIW, in the following thread there are photos of the HoJo's Disney view (posts #1 and #11).

The thread is from Oct '07; HoJo's swimming pools have been renovated since the photos were taken.

HTH :earsboy:

Thanks for linking to my thread.:goodvibes :thumbsup2

I want to say that since those pics were taken, the premium rooms now have new beds and bedding (and let me tell ya, ohhhhhhh so comfortable!).

I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures of them (what the heck was I thinking?!!!), but the beds now have new mattresses, not sure what kind exactly, but they're like the new Heavenly Beds. Also, they're triple sheeted with very soft 300tc sheets, and have big, fluffy, soft, white down comforters. I'm telling you, the beds and bedding are AWESOME!!! You will sleep well.

We've stayed in several of their premium rooms, and although there are trees in front of the building, they really don't "block" the view all that much. On a side note, management is either going to cut the trees down and/or prune and thin them sometime in the near future. The owner is having trouble with the "cutting them down" choice because he and his father planted those trees together back in the mid-1960's when the property was new. He's sentimentally attached to them.

I have to say yes. We stayed in a Disney view room on our trip in October. We got kicked out of the park early on Sunday for Miley Cyrus's birthday party. They scheduled a special birthday fireworks show, supposedly at 10:30 PM. I sat in front of our view window waiting for the fireworks, but they didn't come. At about 11:30 PM I started hearing firework booms. I had an amazing view of the firework show from my balcony.

It was also very nice to have the view of the Matterhorn every morning.
