I decided Hojo was the place now my questions are

Can I park in the parking lot and go to disneyland before check in I will arrive there by 11 am I think check in is 2pm ?

When I check out on friday can I leave my car in parking for most of the day until my flght leaves plane leaves at 7pm ?

Do they just want to see my entertainment card or do they put the numbers off it in the computer ? It is registered under me just wanted to know ?

Do I pay for all the nights at check in or do I pay for them when check out or do I pay everyday Im there ?

Anything else I need to know thanks

We have been able to leave the car in the parking lot before checking in, as well as after checking out - they really don't know whose car is whose...

I think they just want to see the entertainment card, we weren't even asked for ours last year. You pay at the end of your stay - when you call to book they want a credit card to hold your reservations, but it is not charged until you check out. :)

The HoJo will give you a little parking pass card to put in the front of your car and it will be linked to your registration. You can park as early as you like on the day of your check in, you will just need to go in and pre-register (even though your room won't be ready).

Never once been asked for my ent. card either, but in theory, they will ask for it when you check out. It doesn't need to be registered to you, any card will work as long as it's valid and not expired.

Your credit card won't be charged until check out.

They will give you a parking pass when you check in. Just put it on your dash and you're good to go!! We do this every HoJo's stay.

Yes, we do this as well because we drive to DL every trip, just leave your parking pass in the window and you're golden.

They just want to see it, they've never asked but I've always shown them.

Pay when you check out.

For anybody else who's reading this, and who isn't driving: they'll also hold your luggage for you if you check in early. The day you are leaving, they will hold it for you when you check out, if you want to go to the parks for awhile before you get your transportation back to the airport.

For example, on our last day our shuttle doesn't go till 3:30, so we'll check out and leave our luggage at the desk, and go to the park till it's time to go get the shuttle.

And tacking on to Gail's post...

If you are driving and don't want to leave your luggage in your car all day, they are happy to hold your luggage in their locked room. Of course they are also happy with a tip for the person who takes it or gets it for you. :)

We have twice left our luggage in the car, taking our chances, on checkout day, but last time we did put our laptop into their room, just to be careful.

Would someone please tell me about the entertainment card you referred to? I'm planning on staying some of the trip next year at Hojo's. Is it a card only Cali residents can purchase?

Anyone can buy the Entertainment Book (which comes with a card in the cover). And to anticipate another question, you can buy whatever book you'd like, you do not have to buy the book for the Anaheim area to use for the HoJo discount (if you stay at HoJo during the times that the incredible discount is offered). Get the book that works for you, or if none of the other coupons work for you, just buy the cheapest. :)

Granny, I just happened to post about this yesterday, so I'll cut and paste that response here:

Here's the Entertainment rate deal:

You get the book, which has a card stuck inside the cover. You can order it online from Entertainment.com. As I said in an earlier post, you can get the card only for free plus shipping from E-bay right now, because it expires Nov. 1st. Otherwise the books costs from $25-40, depending on where you live. If you were to get the book for next year, go ahead and order it for your own area; it doesn't have to be for Orange County. All you need is the card.

A bunch of hotels do the Entertainment rate; HoJo seems to be the closest 3-star hotel that does it for such a good rate. Here's their calendar which shows the dates it's available: http://www.hojoanaheim.com/phpbb/vie....php?f=13&t=14

In your case, DoomBugger, you're fine; all your dates are listed there. If you are ever looking and don't see your dates, keep in mind that it gets updated frequently. For example, there were NO dates for July until all of a sudden, the last week in June, about a dozen July dates opened up. I would call ASAP, though, because they do sell out.

The Ent rates are $59 a night for a standard room, $74 for a deluxe room. The deluxe rooms are recently renovated; you get them overlooking the garden pool (building 2) or with a view of Disneyland (building 1; these upper floors have a great fireworks view). They have a dorm sized fridge, a microwave, new pillow-top mattresses, and most of them have balconies.

Here's the link to the website that shows the room layouts, and amenities in each room. On the third page is a map of the hotel layout so you can see where the buildings are. http://www.hojoanaheim.com/pdf/room_layouts.pdf

You don't need the Ent card to book; you can call and book right now, just get the card before you go. When you book, call the hotel directly (714)776-6120 and ask for IN HOUSE reservations, and ask for the Entertainment rate. Call between 9-5 Pacific time weekdays. Do NOT let them shuttle you to the general reservations, 1-800 line; you can only get this deal through "in-house" reservations. The 1-800 people will not know what you're talking about. Ask for Lorealle; she is so friendly and helpful! Tell her you're from the DIS boards and she'll go all out to make sure you get what you need.

Hope that helps!
