HoJo Reservation Recommendations

Do you have any recommendations for what type of room to request? (location, direction, etc?)

I prefer upper floor with Disney view to take advantage of being able to view fireworks directly from your room balcony.

Rooms around pool area are nice too. Try to avoid rooms on the back side of the hotel which can be noisy. Others have said that if you are on the back side and on lower floors, then noise isn't too bad.

We happen to be the odd one out on our preference. We prefer building one facing the freeway. The car noise helps us sleep. We will gladly take a Disney view of course. But it has to be in building one away from the lower floors.

Even the people who work at the HoJo will advise you that the quietest rooms are in Bldg. 2. That is my preferred location because of how peaceful it is back there by the quiet pool.

Bldg. 1 is where all the Premium Disney view rooms are located. All these rooms have just been upgraded with simmons pillowtop mattresses and microwaves. If you don't like early morning light, make sure to request a room that is not on the top floor because they have skylights. And if you don't like freeway noise, request a room on the South end of the building.

bldg 1, 3rd floor! That's our fave! We like the Disney view rooms, they are a bit bigger, have a microwave and we loved the beds!!

I have stayed on the 5, 6 and 7th floors. I thought the view was great from all. But we did experience freeway noise on the 7th floor, much more than the lower floors. But, we were also on the North end of the 7th floor, which was closer to the freeway and above the barrier wall.

I'm sure it's been discussed already, but I can't seem to find it...does the card (and any useful coupons) expire before Nov 15th? We're going Nov 9-15th and want to take advantage of Hojo's special offer.
