HoJo Deluxe Rooms are now "Refreshed"

Just saw on HOJO facebook posting that all the Deluxe category rooms have just been "refreshed" with new carpet and bedding and furniture.

Just thought that was cool - for those with res. in a Deluxe room!

We stayed in one of the "refreshed" deluxe rooms in November. Everything felt very clean and new. I even walked on the carpet with bare feet -- not something I do at all hotels. The bathrooms still have the 1970s/80s tiles with the brown decals, but the bathroom was also very clean. And you just have to love those beds . . . Well, at least I do.

meh, still looks like a normal motel to me. Outdated style furniture and no flatscreen t.v. It's o.k. but nothing special. If you don't get the good prices it is overpriced.

We stayed in this room in Sept and I thought it was very nice, great bed/bedding, nice update. The bathroom there was older feeling but as above poster said very clean. Our room had the sink inside the bathroom. The only change I would like would be to have a separate sink so 2 people could get ready at the same time.
For the great deals you can get here, it gets an "A" from me.

I have stayed at the Best Western Park Place Inn as well--and there is just no comparison. Hojos is so much cleaner, more comfortable, and more "nice" family friendly.

Some of the rooms there have separate sinks. I don't know if any of the deluxe queen rooms do, but we have stayed in the 2 doubles and 1 king standard and have had separate sinks before with both of those.

Cool. We enjoyed the kid suite for the first time in November and were talking to each other about how nice it would be if they would freshen up some of the other rooms. Great to hear they have.

I assume that none of the deluxe queen rooms have separate sinks. We have now stayed in 10 different deluxe rooms there, and all the bathrooms have been the same.

But the deluxe rooms bldg 3/4/5/6 do NOT have microwaves right?

I believe "deluxe" refers only to the rooms with 2 queen beds in building 2. I believe the rooms in bldgs 3/4/5/6 are all considered standard, and none of them have microwaves or queen beds (they have doubles).

There are different price points for each of these classes of rooms. Standard rooms (double bed rooms in bldgs 3/4/5/6 and queen bed rooms on freeway side of bldg 1) are the cheapest. Deluxe in bldg 2 are the next price point. Then there are the "premium" rooms which are Disney facing rooms in bldg 1. Kid suites are more expensive than any of these. Then there are a limited number of even more expensive suites.
