HoJo Deluxe King Tour :o)

That was a great video. I stayed in that same room category in May when I went. It was nice, except in my room they didn't have enough plugs by the refidgerator for the micro and coffe maker, and didn't have a power strip, so we hade to move the coffee maker across the room to an available plug. It was kind of a pain. But we love HoJo also. I prefer the location of Bldg 1 to 2.
Too bad they hardly ever offer the Annual pass rate anymore.

Are you getting less lonely? hope so!!

thankyou! what a good idea. gives such a better idea of space and light in a video as apposed to pictures. I really like that they have done a bit of updating since we were there last in early 2010. This last trip we stayed at Best Western Park Place Inn because Hojo's had no availability for our last minute trip. We really liked the BWPPI for it's proximity, and the rooms were more updated compared to our last trip to Hojo's, but I'm happy to say we are staying at Hojo's again in November because I booked it back in January!! We've been staying there since our first time over 20 years ago, with the occasional stay at another hotel in the area due to availability, or luckily upgrading to the Disneyland Hotel! It's become like our vacation home, we have such good memories there with all our kids growing up, and in November we will start making memories with some of our grandkids.

Yeah I'm less lonely but I just keep having issues with other stuff. My phone stopped turning on so I had to bring it back to the hotel, which is where I am now, reloading the software. So I lost everything on my phone...Thank god I had my phone numbers backed up.

Maybe you can make some more of these nice videos? Walk from room to secrurity or gates. Public areas like the pools. Or in that parks.

Sure I can do that :) I'll film some tomorrow before check out then upload them when I get home on Tuesday. I'll film the entire walk to the park as well and then speed it up with a timer so people can see the actual distance from the hotel parking lot to the gates of the park

at the Hojo Anaheim website (not the chain site but the actual hotel site) they have several videos of the hotel, all the rooms, pools store etc. and even the walk to the park. But your video showed the room quite differently, not better or worse, perhaps from a more personal real point of view? the actual walk from your room in building 2 to the security gates would be a good one! I think the one at the Hojo site that Willie and Lorealle did does not have a timer on it, so it's hard to get a realistic idea. thanks for taking us along with you on your solo trip!! the closest I've been to a solo trip, was the only time I went without hubby. It was with my 2 dear dauthters who wanted to spend time laying by the pool which I hate doing, and sometimes would actually want to go back to the room before closing!! :scared1: so I did have quite a few hours alone in the park, and a walk back to Hojo's by myself after dark because I'd missed the last shuttle.....did not do that again! as nice as the area is, when it is midnight and there are few people on the street and it's dark, anywhere is scarey!! I was ready for the holiday to end by about day 5 which for me is crazy!! But I did do a few things that have been suggested, like taking lot's of pictures of detail type things, watching the fireworks on main street then fighting my way into Rivers of America to see Fantasmic, watching some of the shows no one else wanted to see, getting a prime location well in advance for the parades. There are for sure perks to being solo sometimes!
