So I just went through to set up a reservation at Hojo just in case they release entertainment rates that week. Although it's not on the boards yet, it gave me the rate the whole week I booked (Sept 26-Oct 2). Just letting you guys know :goodvibes

Just curious, were you able to actually book it? I tried last night to do the same thing and although it showed my rate available and let me select the room once I eneterd my CC info and hit sumbit I received the message Rate Unavailable. I called and was basically blown off iand told the ENT Rate was not vaild even if I was able to get that far in the resy process.
 
ugh i got all happy thinking our dates were available. it actually showed our dates available, but wouldnt let me continue. :confused3 I called and of course inhouse ressies isnt in until 8am tomorrow oh well i will try again tomorrow :wizard:

you know that's what happened to me. But if it shows dates, options, totals, you'd think it would be legitimate. Almost they would have to give you the rate :confused3
I know in the state of California if something is marked a price they have to give it to you for that price. lol maybe not hotels :rotfl: But I am calling at 8am cause that just isnt right to get our hopes up. :goodvibes

I agree-that's why I called. They should honor it since it is their site that is posting the rate. I was shocked because for the 1st time ever the service was rude. I could tell from her tone the moment she came on the line she was exasperated and did not want to be there. I wrote it off to the girl just having a bad day, we all have been there. I still love Hojos but have a room reserved at the BW Anaheim Inn and am looking forward to trying something new after a few years of great times at the Hojo.
 
That happened to me too although they still gave it to me at the Ent rate. I was looking up my dates at the beginning of the year for our November/December trip. When I put in the code they all came up as Ent dates but it wouldn't let me book it on the website. So I called and told them I would like to book all the dates at Ent rate and they advised me that Ent rates had not been released so they couldn't book it. When I told them I had a quote from their site with those prices on it the girl then said that of course they would honour the website quote and then booked it all for me at Ent rate.

She really was lovely about it and I didn't have to argue with her or anything she just straight away honoured what the website said to me. Just to be on the safe side though I printed it out and will be taking it with me when we stay in case they try and give me hassle :lmao:

You called the 800 number people, or were put through to them b/c it was after business hours. The 800 number people do not have ANY idea about the special deal with HoJo Anaheim, or if they've taken enough calls that they DO know about it, they still can't give it to you. Their Entertainment Book rate is much different.

No I did not. I called at 9am today and spoke with in house reservations. When I was getting now where I asked to speak with Lorealle who I have dealt with on numerous occastions but was told no managers were available.
 
I'm not too pleased ~ I actually got a $59 rate @ HoJo for 7/4 - I printed off the page from the site showing the price, faxed it to them and they would not honor it. In fact I'm getting it now + a $69 rate and the kids suite for $99! But I cannot actually book it.

Sounds like a web-site problem. I'll be in-house reservations is incredibly frustrated with this! :scared1:
 
Per the Hojo Message Board-

"Just give our In-House Reservations a call at 714-776-6120! We'd love to help you book your stay with us!"


Is the number above what is being called? We get the ent. rate, and I've never had a problem booking it. But, if you just ask for reservations, they send you to the company line, not in house. You have to make sure you are getting in-house reservations.

If so, definately call back. If you printed it out, she will definately honor it if you were having problems while calling. They do these discounts so much, though, I can't believe it's not already drilled in their heads. I do know you have to call while they are posted, baring any problems like the PP's 7/4 issue. Once it's off the list, it's no longer available.

I hope everyone gets sorted out!
 
I actually didn't follow through with booking because DH wants a place with breakfast - BW Stovall's for us! Sorry if I contributed to any confusion!
 
It seems like a website glitch to me. You can pretty much put in any dates right now and get the entertainment rate, but I don't think you can actually complete the reservation process. So if you don't actually obtain a reservation at that rate, I wonder if they'll have to honor it.

They wouldn't honor it for me this afternoon ~ I faxed them a print out from the site showing me the rate + tax!
 
i rang and booked for oct a kidsuite for 99$ pernight have ressie number now, what dates are you waiting for?

Yes, I have never been able to book the entertainment rate online (even when it's actually showing as available on their site), it always takes you to the last page and then when you try and book it, it says "rate unavailable". I have given up trying to book the rate online and just call in house directly.
 
I'm still getting rates of $59 $69 & $99 *kids suite* for 7/4 using the SD50 code, if they don't honor it that's not cool, if it's their mistake they need to fix it but give it to those who "catch" it before it's fixed. I use to work retail if we left a sale tag up even if the sale ended a week ago we would honor the price for the customer who noticed it but throw it away so noone else could get it....
