Lucas: Luke watched Veronica run off. "Nice going Alexei."

Alexei: Alexei's eyes widened. "What? What did I do?!"

Lucas: "She probably thought you were making fun of her!"

Alexei: "I didn't mean any harm! Anyway, she's a Slytherin isn't she, and doesn't everyone say the Slytherins are rude and make fun of people?" The whatever part was kind of rude.

Lucas: Luke stopped and looked at Alexei. "Yes Veronica is a Slytherin, but she doesn't belong there. It's probably the Slytherins that gave her those burns and scars on her face and arms."

Alexei: "What?!"

Lucas: "Veronica isn't like the other Slytherins. She sees everyone as equals, and is kind to everyone, unlike the real Slytherins who like the purebloods best and are stuck up. Veronica doesn't believe the purist propaganda, the only reason she's in Slytherin is because she wants to be a great healer. The Slytherins hate her as much as everyone else does."

Alexei: "You sound pretty defensive of her." He didn't say anything, but it was implied.

Lucas: "She's a friend and nothing more, not my type. Hufflepuffs are meant to be loyal and to defend their friends to the end. Now come on, let's head to class!" Luke ran off, Alexei following.

Professor Black: Melanie knew her ability was something mental. She knew it wasn't normal, and she knew it wasn't something she could go about asking help with. This was something quite special-something so rare that she couldn't find a trace of it in Evan's copy of a History of Magic other than a slight note they had added in their seventh year.
It read: "Protective charms aren't as simple as a disarming spell; they take mindset and lots of practice." *Still, it wasn't much to work with.*
Sighing, Melanie reached into an abandoned desk drawer and pulled out its contents. She wondered why she would have left so many things untouched, though it didn't take long before she was capable of answering her question.
The contents of the drawer were nothing but files and papers, and sitting on top was an old photograph of the three of them standing by a large oak tree on Hogwarts grounds: Melanie, who was the girl standing on the right, had her dark hair around her shoulders and ocean-blue eyes sparkling-she was wearing a gray blouse and skirt; Evan, in the middle, looked similar to the present and as mischievous as he always did; and Christine-small, gentle Christine-had blonde gentle curls and was smiling her sweet smile.
Christine had been killed in the Battle at Hogwarts so many years ago, and although he claimed he only found her, Melanie wondered every now and then whether Evan had really gotten over the way she died.
The photograph almost made Melanie a bit sad because he never mentioned her anymore. Things had changed so much since she and Evan
had been third years.
She took a moment and stared silently at the picture, her eyes growing rather misty.*

Professor Smith: Professor Smith walked into his office, brushing his blond hair out of his face. He'd had the vision again, right in the middle of class: Christine had been asking him if he was all right, and then that death eater had killed her, she fell, he heard himself screaming, then the killing curse came out of his own mouth, the death eater had dropped, Christine's eyes were lifeless.....he shook his head, trying to clear it. It was a miracle he hadn't actually started to scream in class. He should be used to that memory, it appeared in his sleep, and in the quiet moments, pretty much anytime it could sneak in. He had tried Occulmancy, and while he was an experienced Occulmens now, no one could get in his head, it hadn't helped with the visions. The locket thudded painfully against his chest, and he drew it out. It was Christine's large sliver locket, he had taken it upon leaving the country. He opened it and looked at the pictures. On the left was a picture of him, Christine and their parents, she was 10, he was 12. On the right was the two of them the year she died, when she was fifteen and he was seventeen. Evan wore it constantly. He closed the locket and dropped it back, making sure it was hidden underneath his shirt. No one knew he had it, it had been considered lost since her death, no one had been able to find it. He drew a comb threw his hair, trying to make himself at least look put together.

OOC: You are amazing for saying yeppers. Also, where is Jolie right now?

Jackson: He and Gab were walking down the hall to transfiguration when he saw Professor Linus. "Morning professor."

Linus: He stumbled by them, noticabely drunk.

Jackson: "Well at least we know what he keeps in his flasks." He moved Gab's hair out of her face and continued walking.

You are a lousy teacher and you never should have gotten a job here. The only reason I haven't gotten you sacked yet is because my goddaughter likes you, if not loves you. You are a filthy wizard. Things are about to change. There are enemies within the school. As much as I hate you, protect Melanie for me. Do you understand?"

Freya: She was still in Alaine's room. She wondered if Mikial would do anything to stop them. She still did not trust him one ounce.

Professor Smith: Professor Smith just stared at Linus. He didn't know whether to curse him to oblivion or ask him what in the world was going on. "I understand, I'm not as thick as you clearly think I am. And of course I'll protect Melanie. You didn't have to march in here and slander me, I didn't have any intention of doing otherwise."

Prof. Linus: He spat on the ground in Evan's office. "Stupefy!" He hit Evan square in the forehead. He then walked out into the hall and started casting spells that caused frames to shatter into pieces and parts of the building to crumble. "It begins". He was headed to the Room of Requirement.

Professor Smith: Professor Smith fell back upon being hit by the curse. He grabbed his wand and dashed into the hall. He didn't think he could use the Room of Requirement, it wasn't as secret as it was when he was in school.....where was a safe place to hide the students?

Prof. Linus: He made it to the Room of Requirement, causing destruction along the way. Including killing a student, which was unlike him. The room opened and he knew it was time. He pulled up his sleeve, and pressed his wand to his wrist. At that moment men and women started pouring out, all dressed in black along with a few squibs. "It is time my friends! We are the back up plan. These fools didn't honestly think that the Dark Lord relied solely on that one attack many years ago?" The group laughed out. "We have our orders from our leader, whom may come forward now." Minister Ricardo stepped forward.

Minister Ricardo: "That was quite an act you put on Linus, at Azkaban. I actually think they bought it. Fools." He now addressed the group. "The dark lord left the Malfoy family instructions to rebuild an army. They were too weak to carry it out, so I and Mikial took it over gladly. Our goal? Take over every Wizarding school starting with Hogwarts. Thus, only allowing pure bloods to be trained in wizarding and witchcraft."

Prof. Linus: "Try to spare as many of the children as you can. We can sort them out later. Besides that take no prisoners. Kill the staff as well. Leave the Headmistress for me though. A man stepped forward, he was quite old and frail.

Augustus Rookwood: He had been in the Second Wizarding War. He was frail and old from fighting. "Before you managed to destroy Azkaban I successfully got many of the prisoners out, and I brought them here. They are bloodthirsty."

Prof. Linus: "Very well."

You needed to answer a question correctly to get into Ravenclaw Tower, aand the Hufflepuff common room had a code and backfired on people if they didn't do the code right! And there was no apparating in Hogwarts.

Prof. Linus: "Now go forward!" At that, the army of almost two hundred started into the castle.
