Jolie: she grabbed onto the hippogriff's neck, and it took off. She wasn't scared, her school did have Pegasi. A large grin appeared on her face as the creature swooped and dove. Her wild brown hair flowed behind her, and her new Hogwarts robes fluttered.

Ooc: does anyone want to scare it at the end of her ride? I has an idea.

Jolie: the hippogriff bucked and stomped and spread its wings. Jolie, who was in the process of getting off was shaken up. Then the creature flew up into the air, and Jolie, who was now at a full side saddle hung onto its neck for dear life. They were about fifty feet up in the air when it bucked its head and she fell down to the ground. She landed with a loud thud and fell unconscious. The hippogriff, knowing she had fallen off, trotted over to her and nudged her unconscious body with its head, then made a loud crying sound.

Gabrielle: she gasped as she saw the girl fall, and before she landed, Gab buried her face in jackson's shoulder, so she didn't have to see her land.

Jolie: the hippogriff bucked and stomped and spread its wings. Jolie, who was in the process of getting off was shaken up. Then the creature flew up into the air, and Jolie, who was now at a full side saddle hung onto its neck for dear life. They were about fifty feet up in the air when it bucked its head and she fell down to the ground. She landed with a loud thud and fell unconscious. The hippogriff, knowing she had fallen off, trotted over to her and nudged her unconscious body with its head, then made a loud crying sound.

Gabrielle: she gasped as she saw the girl fall, and before she landed, Gab buried her face in jackson's shoulder, so she didn't have to see her land.

Veronica: Veronica was up out of her seat with her healing books running towards the girl before she realized anything had happened. "I'm a healer, I'm a healer!" she shouted, trying to get through. She knelt beside Jolie, murmuring, "Everything's going to be fine."

Lucas’ story begins with his parents. In Harry’s year, there were two Gryffindors, Darius Roric and Drew Sullivan. Darius and Drew were the best and closest of friends, they were practically inseparable. In the beginning of fifth year, Drew met a Hufflepuff girl in their year by the name of Rebecca Fulton. Drew was immediately smitten by the smart, shy but passionate girl, and it took him the whole year, but he finally won her over. Darius was happy for them, how could he not be? He and Drew were brothers in all but blood, especially since when Darius ran away from home, Drew took him in and they lived together in Drew’s house, plus he had gotten to know Rebecca and considered her a friend as well. However, Rebecca was muggleborn to Drew and Darius’ pureblood, and in sixth year it was decided that Rebecca was unsafe. The three of them decided that Drew would lead Rebecca into hiding until the war’s end, and Darius would help them escape. That summer, they put their plan into action, stealing away and destroying a Death Eater base at the same time. However, Alicia, a friend of Rebecca’s turned out to be a spy and betrayed them. Darius, Drew and Rebecca destroyed the base, but Rebecca’s betrayal almost cost the three friends their lives as they were attacked. Somehow, they escaped into Belgium. Darius helped Drew and Rebecca hide, but had to leave them as he knew they were looking for all three of them and wouldn’t suspect them if it was just Drew and Rebecca. Back in England, Darius was confronted by his abandoned parents, who wanted him to join the Death Eaters, but he refused and escaped from them. Darius ran into a group of renegade witches and wizards, mostly defected Ministry employees or new Hogwarts graduates, which acted as a covert ops group for the Order. Darius joined their ranks to fight the war. Meanwhile, by the end of the year, both Drew and Rebecca were of age, and were still so in love with each other, that they wanted to be married, just in case something happened to them, so Drew proposed. Rebecca of course accepted readily, without a second thought. After the New Year, Darius was gravely injured in a skirmish, and was sent out of the country to recover. He rejoined Drew and Rebecca, who were glad to see him. They begged him to marry them until at last, Darius gave in. Darius married his “brother” and his friend, but was all too soon called back to the front. Darius fought in the Battle of Hogwarts, and unfortunately saw many a friend die. After the war, Darius went back to Belgium and returned to England with Drew and Rebecca, who decided to have an actual ceremony. After that, they went to work, Drew and Darius going into the Aurors and Rebecca into Magical Law. Between the three of them, several Death Eaters were convicted and sent to Azkaban or killed. During all of this, Rebecca Sullivan became pregnant, and soon Lucas was born. He was named after Darius, as his full name was Darius Lucarius Roric, and Darius was made godfather. However, many were resentful of Darius and the Sullivans for what they had done. There were incidents, but were minor. Then, when Lucas was three, the house was invaded and Drew and Rebecca Sullivan were murdered. They tried to kill Lucas as well, but thanks to accidental magic, Luke was able to keep himself hidden. When Darius and the aurors reached the house, they found it in ruins and ashes, and Luke hidden in the remains.
