Veronica: Veronica gave him the tiniest of smiles. Perhaps all hope wasn't lost. "Nope. I'm the social outcast of Slytherin House." Almost instinctively, she put some distance between herself and Professor Linus' office before she continued, "Apparently I'm a blood traitor and a daughter of blood traitors and a house traitor for not being prejudiced and not buying in to the pureblood elitist stuff." She rolled her eyes, and continued, "However, being a Slytherin automatically makes people from other houses hate me." She shrugged. "My friends are my books."

Jackson: He starts to walk along with her, heading nowhere in particular. "I can understand that. Just tonight I actually met someone who talked to me for more than five minutes without making fun of me or getting up and leaving. I'm sorry about being rude, it's just that most Slytherin's are elitists and bullies. It is nice to know that there is at least one out there who isn't." He then thought it was odd she was heading back from the dungeons at this time of night, especially with the feast going on. "What were you doing down there anyway?"

Veronica: Veronica chuckled. "Yes, we aren't all evil. Some are evil, I'll give you that. But not all." She paused and looked embarrassed, as I she didn't want to admit it, and said, "I don't know. The sixth year guys -I'm a sixth year by the way- were giving me a hard time, so I left." It wasn't a lie, they were giving her a hard time when Professor Linus dragged her off.

The sixth year guys -I'm a sixth year by the way- were giving me a hard time, so I left." It wasn't a lie, they were giving her a hard time when Professor Linus dragged her off.

Jackson: "Ahhh. Yeah, I totally get that. The older kids even in Ravenclaw can be jerks." He was having a difficult time trying to continue the conversation, so he abruptly said "You know you don't have to continue talking to me, you were obviously on your way somewhere and I get that you probably feel bad for running into me. But, I wont hold it against you!" He let out a small laugh.

Veronica: Veronica shrugged. "I don't. But I don't have anything better to do, and I'm not going back to the Great Hall just to sit by myself."

Meanwhile, she hoped she would not have to rehash the fight she just had with Jackson.

If she could get there early, she could get to her dorm and pretend to be sleeping. Meanwhile, she had to think of a reasonable excuse to be pulled out by Linus.

Veronica: Veronica sped down to the common room. Passing through the entrance, she saw emerald as she ran through the common room and into her dorm. Her dorm room had no windows, but that was okay, her owl just had to come at breakfast and live in the Owlrey. Speaking of the Owlrey, she noticed her owl, Carlotta, must already be there as she did a little unpacking.
