Professor Smith: Evan finished with a death eater and stood back. His arm crossed over his forehead, brushing the sweat and hair out of his gaze. This was a terrible time, it was just like the war, and he was still so worried about Melanie. She hadn't come back to him yet, and he knew she would be needing her wand. If she was alive, that is.

Professor Claybourne: Morgan emerged from another hall after rounding up some death eaters and dealing with them. A few Stuns had left her with a small gash on her head, but she thought grimly satisfied, They won't be around to hurt anyone ever again.

Darius: Darius Roric concluded business with another death eater and looked around. Hogwarts was a battlefield, again. Many of his aurors had escorted children to the Ministry, but so far there was no word of his godson. Hopefully he was safe. There had been three casualties so far, Nathan Kensworth, Edward Blackshire, and Ursula Carver. Three talented aurors and good soldiers who had had honorable deaths sacrificing their lives for the children. He wondered how many more would die today, in battle in the same place that hosted a battle fifteen years ago.

the school, there was still no sign of Jackson. She was so frustrated-she wanted to throw up more protections, but Linus's wand wouldn't work as well as her own. She hurried down to the front entrance again. Spotting Evan, Melanie quickly pulled her wand out of his pocket without a word and ran off, not noticing the dripping of blood from her arm onto the floor. She wasn't sure whether he had seen her or not, but there wasn't time to find out.
OOC: yeah never mind, she needed her wand too much.

Professor Black: By the time she had checked almost every room in
the school, there was still no sign f Jackson. She was so frustrated-she wanted to throw up more protections, but Linus's wand wouldn't work as well as her own. She hurried down to the front entrance again. Spotting Evan, Melanie quickly pulled her wand out of his pocket without a word and ran off again. She wasn't sure whether he had seen her or not, but there wasn't time to find out.
OOC: yeah never mind, she needed her wand too much.

Prof. Smith: Evan only caught a glimpse of Melanie, but he had problems of his own to attend to, and couldn't go racing down the hall after her. So he tried to forget about it and made peace with the fact that she was now armed as he fought.

Professor Black: On her way out, she ran into Roric, who looked worried. "Er-Darius, the last time I saw Luke he was in the Hufflepuff common room," she said, hoping to calm his fear. "You haven't seen Jackson Finch by any chance, have you?" she asked, worried herself.

Professor Black: On her way out, she ran into Roric, who looked worried. "Er-Darius, the last time I saw Luke he was in the Hufflepuff common room," she said, hoping to calm his fear. "You haven't seen Jackson Finch by any chance, have you?" she asked, worried herself.

OOC: Haha. I guess I'll need to bring in a death eater for the moment.

Darius: "Oh, good," he said, relaxing slightly. "And no, I haven't. Is he missing?"

Sylvester Vaughn: Sylvester Vaughn was walking down the hall with a couple other death eaters when he saw a young man trip and fall. He grinned, a new target. He and the others marched over, and Sylvester grabbed the boy by the collar. "Hey."

OOC: Haha. I guess I'll need to bring in a death eater for the moment.

Professor Black: "His mother's here. We believe he is a very likely target. I've searched the school entirely-can't find him anywhere. He's my cousin, you know, and I just don't-" she stopped there. No one other than her old professors knew about Finch being her aunt, not even Evan.

OOC: I just realized that Mel, Evan and Darius are all in the same year.....well, I probably already did, but I just remembered right now.

Professor Black: "They were all in transfiguration...That was before we were attacked." she shook her head. "Have there been any other attacks? Gabrielle-she's a sixth year, normally hangs around him. She hasn't been here, has she?"

OOC: Yeah. That's okay, I keep forgetting how old everyone is!

Darius: "I have not seen her. There have been skirmishes all over the building." He paused, then continued, "There have been three aurors that have died so far. I don't know the amount of casualties for the death eaters, but we are assuming upward of a dozen."

OOC: I also figure it's been fifteen (maybe sixteen?) years since the battle of Hogwarts, since Luke was born the same year, and he is currently fifteen. That would mean it's four years before the 19 years later scene.

Freya: She had carried Jackson all the way down to the Chamber. Rookwood and about thirty death eaters were there too. "I've got him! I've got him!" She looked around and didn't see Ricardo. "Where's Noel?"

Rookwood: He let out a crackly laugh. "Still in the castle, leading the battle. Unless he has gotten himself killed. Wouldn't surprise me. That man is a fool."

Ivy: "I don't know," she said, playing along. "Did he say anything to you about the restroom or something Alexei?"

The three of them all knew they were lying, and that it was wrong, but they just couldn't bring themselves to ruin his search. They all knew about losing family, one way or another, and none of them wanted someone else to go through that.

She took out her wand and sent a patronus to Darius. "Lucas is missing," she said.

She would have done the same..."Family," she said softly, putting her hand up to her forehead. Melanie knew how that felt, and it showed on her face. "Alright, well, thank you," she said.

Ricardo Noel: He was searching through Linus's office. He had actually transported the corpse to the office too. He was looking for anything Linus might have been hiding. Unbeknownst to him, he was making an awful lot of noise.

Professor Black: Melanie pushed a few strands of hair that had fallen from her ponytail out of her face as she walked back down the corridor. She had no idea where she was going. And then she stopped. There was a racket being made, and it was coming from Linus's office. Melanie pushed open the door. "Recardo," she said threateningly, "Where's Jackson?"
