Alaine: She was in the room, but with a disillusionment charm. She set off a darkness bomb from Zonco's, and grabbed Jane. She dragged her into the hall, and blind folded and gagged her.

Jane: She screamed when the room was filled with black. She tried to kick her attacker, but was tied up and dragged down to the chamber again.

Alaine: She laughed. " Jane, you didn't think it would be that easy to trap Nagini, did you?"

Professor Black: She heard Jane scream. As the darkness subsided, she spoke urgently to Jackson. "Jackson, I know you don't wish to, but you have got to tell me everything you know," she said.

Jackson: "The woman who just took Alaine is a werewolf. Now I'm leaving professor." He ran back to his dorm and sat on his bed. What did he do?

Professor Black: She watched him leave, stunned. Alaine was the only werewolf on their side that she knew of, and she was dead. Melanie sat back in her chair and put her face in her hands. She had made such a mess of things.
