Professor Morgan Claybourne: She stood up, silencing the room. "Another year, gone. And what a year it has been, am I right? I haven't had a crazier year at Hogwarts since my seventh year, the last time the Triwizard Tournament was held. But I won't linger on the past. That is, perhaps, one of our faults as human beings: we linger on past injuries and regrets, rather than looking to the future. All of us here tonight have grown in ways some of us would have never imagined. If you had told me this time last year that I would be giving a farewell address as the Headmistress of Hogwarts, I would have started examining you for signs of sickness! But, as crazy, painful and wonderful as this year was, we got through it. There were trials, but we got through them. We got through then not as Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin, but as Hogwarts. And here we are, at the end of the year. I'm sure your heads are all full to the brim with information, but don't worry, you'll have all summer to get them nice and empty before the new year. I could not be more proud of my staff and students if I tried. Every single one of you in this room has a bright future ahead of you. I hope you have learned something this year, not just academics, but about life. And I thank you all, for making my first year as Headmistress of Hogwarts so wonderful.
But, it seems you have listened to an old lady's musings enough. With a final salute to Gryffindor, who won the House cup with 450 points, let the feast begin!" She sat down.
