Hogwarts Express...Stay in that park or ride back to original?

I have a question about riding Hogwarts Express. We plan on spending a day in each park and then the third day hitting the highlights of each park. If you start at one park and then ride the train, do you now finish the day at the second park or ride back to the original park and finish the day there. I cannot seem to find any info on this. Suggestions are appreciated!

You can ride the train as many times as you like backwards and forwards as long as you have a park to park ticket..........

It's entirely up to you where you finish the day off.

I think wendy was asking you universal experts what your suggestion is... your touring plan.. if you will? last year when we were at Universal I seem to remember there was no longer EE for howarts and hogsmeade at IOA? (or maybe not for the days we were there/ or EE for IOA one day and US the other day?)

so we stayed at the new cabana bay and did early entry for diagon alley at US.. rode gringotts right wawy, explored some, then rode over to IOA on the HE. then we stayed at IOA for the rest of the day.

the next day we did the studios, concentrating on timing all of the various shows. (RIP Beetlejuice )
the 3rd day I think we went back and hit whatever we missed.

ah! but I remember after we cam home, I found out the the ride from IOA back to US id actually different than the ride from US TO IOA.. so we missed out.

Be aware that, if you do want to just ride back to the other park right away, you can't just stay on the train. You have to exit the train and exit the station and then wait in line again to re-board the train.
