Hockey or Baseball which is the better sport

Ok which is the better sport to watch and play Hockey or Baseball? I say hockey much more physically demanding lots of hitting and exciting plays.
Baseball no to much standing around and watching 1 pitcher and a batter.

Baseball is INCREDIBLY boring. I brought a magazine to the last pro game I went to with DH. =) Hockey keeps me glued to the ice!

Never been around hockey...I love St. Louis Cardinal Baseball! (and baseball in general).

Of all sports, football is my all time favorite...grew up a Los Angeles Rams fan and when they moved to St. Louis (only 4 hours from home) I was the happiest rams fan around.

Ok this is tough for me I love both these sports and for different reasons, I going to have to go with Hockey. Just for pure excitment, mostly playoff Hockey its a totally different sport than regular season.
Baseball is great sport to enjoy on a summer afternoon there is a charm to it, an atmosphere, the field, the sounds.
The only sport I dont like is Basketball.

Go Red Sox! I love baseball....SO much! I watch every game, every night/afternoon. I can name every player on the Red Sox in my sleep....basically, I'm obsessed with the red sox/baseball. I play softball, too, so I definatly don't find it boring!!


I have never been into hockey...you call baseball boring? Thee periods and the score is like 2-1....yeah, 2 hours of skating back and forth on a rink....SO exciting....I can't even stand the excitement! I'd rather watch golf!

TIC you can't see the excitement in all the hitting and skating ya baseball is full of excitement with all that standing around waiting to see if someone will actually hit the ball so they may have to actually move to catch it. I played baseball when I was younger but gave it up way to boring and I was even a backcatcher and a pitcher and second base not all at the same time mind you hehe.

I am totally glued to the action and the best part of going to a game is the dramas in the corner away from the camera! They don't get too physical in baseball.

Welcome to the new DB TIC mae youself comfortable. I agree with the action away from the camera they get pretty physical with each other that is one of the best parts of the game. You have speed and grace on the ice along with punishing hits and goals I would rather see a 2-1 game then a 6-5 game.

I myself prefer watching hockey. My DS plays both and I definitely find the hockey to be more exciting! Went to a baseball game tonight and maybe it's because I don't know the game well, but I'm bored everytime!

Hockey is a much more exciting sport. The hits, the speed, the fights. I think hockey players really need a lot more conditioning than most other athletes. Players play 20 or more minutes a game, and they are just zipping around the ice the entire time. There is nothing else in pro sports like sudden death overtime in hockey. The dedication of hockey players is second to none--they'll come back and continue playing a game after getting hit in the face with a puck, losing a few teeth, and getting 30 stiches in their head. Some baseball players need to go on the 21 day DL for a hang nail.
