We are planning a large family trip to WDW in October 2008. There will be 16 adults and 4 kids (ages 5,6,6,7). My mom keeps trying to get us all to go see Arabian Nights or some other off site dinner show. She has already seen it, I don't exactly know why she wants everyone to go. DH & I don't want to leave WDW once we get there, because there are so many things to do there we haven't done yet, even though we have been there 19 times. So, we are thinking of talking with mom about possibly doing the Sunday Gospel Brunch or La Nouba instead. For whatever we do, we will probably send the kids to one of the kid's clubs for a few hours, the rest of the group range in age from 21 to 65. None of us have ever done either of those shows. I don't know that everyone will want to do any show, so there may be as few as 8 of us for the show. I know La Nouba doesn't include a meal, so I will ask about it on another thread. Can anyone tell me more about HOB? How is the meal and entertainment? What is the show like? Is it worth the price? Are there discounts available? We are DVC and AP holders. I read the menu, how does the food taste? We talked with her about doing the Spirit of Aloha, but the reviews were horrible and the price is high! And we did Hoop Dee Doo when I was a kid, don't feel the need to do it again. Thank you for any ideas, help or comments.
