You understand the situation really well.There really is no answer, and we know we are not dealing with the situation as we probably should, but there it is. I am not usually one to walk away from a situation, part of my issue is that it is my DH's parents, not mine. Not that I don't want to deal with it, but there are 4 siblings that have to work it out, and I'm not one of them.
If I allowed myself.. I would be one as well. I have a VERY hard time letting go of my kids clothes along with other kid stuff..
I force myself to let go of stuff every few months because I dont want to become like my gram.. There are times when I'd have almost a panic attack type reaction when cleaning out their stuff getting ready to give it away to good will or another family.. but I know it must be done its very hard sometimes.. I hope I never stop making myself do it it wouldn't take long for me to fill a house with 4 kids I'm sure
