Hmmm....chances of upgrade??

Ok - I know this has been asked a million times but we are sailing on the 5/13 3 day Wonder and I was just checking things....and I saw that DCL, Expedia and Travelocity have no category 11's available (which is what I booked).

DCL had 9 and above
Expedia had 9 and above
Travelocity had 8 and above......



does that mean I could have a chance at being upgraded?

I definitely wouldnt count on it. While it is a possibility at any time for an upgrade it seems that Disney or any cruise line really does them at random with no real rhyme or reason. I would think that the highest chances of getting an upgrade would be if you booked a GTY room but I dont know for sure.

with no room # assigned? We did that in Sept, booked 4 guaranteed category 11's and were upgraded to 4 category 7(yes, navigators verandas!) I am still pinching myself. So, it does happen!

yep - my room is GTY and I keep checking the DCL site to see if we have been assigned anything but not yet.
