GGGGgggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I am sick of players complaining about losing in HM, then quitting.

Sore losers.

Yup, I'm right with you on this. I HATE it when people get mad about them losing, and they quit... :sad2:

i am with you all the way that's why i switched to fireworks but still here ppl say why did you stop at 240000! :sad2:

I say a quitter in Haunted should be penalized all the credits they have accumulated for that game, and be banned for a half hour from entering a new haunted game. Obviously disconnects wouldn't count, only if you hit the Exit button.

It is endless, why start a game that there is a 50% chance of losing if you cannot accept a loss. I find myself taking more and more breaks from the mansion just for this reason.
Too bad really, it is such a fun game and the credits rock win or lose.

I know just what you mean i have been on the green car quest for far to long. To beat the mansion i need to people on the opposite side and me all alone. Usually right when the last level starts they seem to just dissapear.

I've seen more and more often now people quitting a HM game if they don't win the first round. I think it's because they are doing the Tron room quest, and are at the haunted mansion catch 20 ghosts task. In addition to catching 20 ghosts, this task requires you to win the game. Thus, if people don't win the first round, they just quit and start the task over again.

If you see me in mansion, I'd be happy to help get a few ppl to play on your opposite team against you (including me!) so you can get your ghosts. :goodvibes

You are not required to win Haunted Mansion for the quest. Whenever I play Haunted Mansion (for quests)I do my best to score enough, so that I satisfy the quest, but I never try to win. This not too hard to do since I stink at the game.

While doing the Tron Room Quest I definately did not win, but I still got the room.

I also was able to get the Tron room without winning the game. If I am on a quest, I go about getting the ghosts I need for the task and glady let the other person win, hoping they won't quit! I wish the quest tasks would count even if the other team leaves, as long as you have scored the required number of ghosts.

If I am playing for credits, it's not as important to me if they quit, as I still receive the credits for ghosts caught. (although it's still annoying ;) )

I do realize though, that many are not quitting but dc'ing like flies!

Which makes no sense because if you quite you get NO CREDITS at all.
I don't care if I win or lose as long I get some high credits. LOL

But who says that most people these days have any common sense? :confused3
Most of us do. But there are lots of those that don't. And many of those that purposely quit in the middle of the game are kids/teens who let their emotions get the better of them. Not to mention that kids/teens these days think that they have to win at everything just to think they are worth something. :sad2:

Oh I would LOVE that. I know that the dc problem is big, and yes, it happens
to me, too. But more often the last couple of days, I've seen people who
seem to have quit. I could usually tell the quitters because they don't move
around much, then completely stand still until they go "invisible" and leave
the game. You can tell when someone disconnects usually because they
are actively trying to go after the ghosts.

I think the quitters are players who don't have enough practice or skill to
do well, and they quit out of frustration. Some players do seem to quit if
they are not winning, but most stay.

I would actually like it if the game would tell the remaining players that
"Title has left the game" when someone hits the Exit button.

Huh Sorry .. If you have no choice of leaving, you just should not join ... Once I wanted to play with my laptop, I was send back to the lobby after that I stopped to play VMK with my laptop ..

I know that they are ppl leaving because of dc but then you should try to dc before playing and then going into the game ... I do that before each game I play except pirates game ..

I think you reversed your posts and this one should be on other thread and that one here ;)

but to answer you statement...that is why I do not play HM because it is not fair to others playing against me.....I do try every so often when there is a quest that includes it but after the first time booted back to lobby I quit.

Refreshing because of DC does not always help....VMK has alot of issues and DC happen whether or not you have just refreshed.

Yes - In Mansion, my friends and I will refresh and be ready to go. Play maybe one round then most of us have a browser crash. It is just ironic that not one of us has it, but two maybe three have a browser crash in the game. Another interesting piece is that I use FireFox and my friends us IE. Wish that would get fixed. Then we can log in play again for a while it is fine. But it does appear at least once a night - we have the browser crash.

Ok, chiming in as one of your IE using friends....

I find it interesting when a bunch of us have the IE crash at the same time,
usually after a couple of games. So it has become habit to play a couple
of rounds, refresh....play a couple more.....refresh....repeat.

It does tend to save us the agony of losing those credits on round three!
Most of the time. ;)
