I tried searching the players guide, and the general search function doesn't seem to be working, but does anyone have any tips on how to do better with the HM game?

I've just started getting into the quests, and so many of them require the game. Sometimes I'm lucky enough, sometimes not so much. My biggest problem seems to be making my mini-me move around. I've tried with the mouse and with the arrow keys, and I can't seem to really do either one very well.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

The first thing, I did when I played the game was to change the keys (there is a button were it is written keys) to the alternative one. So I just play with the up / down / right / left and with the CTRL to catch the ghosts. It is way easier because the first time i tried before changing the keys I was so bad ... Hope it will helps you

Okay, this game I can play. I use the mouse, but will use the arrow keys to kind of "wake up" my character and get it started. The key for me is realizing that I'm directing the mouse where I want to be a second of two from now. You've got the allow for the network lag time or machine lag time. I keep me left thumb ready on the control key to suck up the ghosts.

I usually score 45 to 55 ghosts per game. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the help! I found that for me the alternative keys worked the best. Of course, I was doing the Mickey quest and it refuses to give me the pin, no matter how many ghosts I get! I don't get it, but I'm giving up, and probably going to avoid quests with HM in the future--too frustrating for me right now--thanks so much for the help, though!

How many of your points come from sucking up your opponents? Because those points don't count in your overall total for the quests.

Yes. You don't get credits or the quest points by catching your opponents. Those are only to help you win the game. :)

When using the mouse, remember not to click to move your character. I sort of wiggle it around to wake it up, and then move the mouse to where you want your character to go. Do not click.

I use the Control key to activate the ghost vacuum. I just keep tapping it so you sort of have a constant stream of vacuuming going on.

For quests, only actual ghosts vacuumed count, not the people turned into ghosts.

To minimize turning yourself into a ghost, follow a player of the opposite color around. They will attract your ghosts, and make it easier to get them. Also, they will suck up the other color ghosts.

I always play with the keys instead of mouse. I played with the mouse at first and averaged about 40 ghosts for a 3 part game, now with the keys I average about 75
