......had some things taking up my time lately, so didn't get to come back over for a bit.

So, hatred is a very hard thing to deal with. And I am such a lover, I really don't even get it. I tried to back off, that didn't work, I was "running away". I tried to talk it through and that didn't work either. I've come to the conclusion that the only way to deal with it is to cut it out of my life. Which is very sad.

Anyway, hi again.

I'm sorry you've had to deal with such rough stuff.

I've had to make the decision to cut stuff/people out of my life before--for different reasons--and it's never easy.

I wish you good discernment as you find your path through it all.

Hatred is normally caused by ignorance. Too bad there are so many ignorant people in the world

Paige - I'm sorry for what you're going through but it will get better. A good friend of mine had to cut her mother out of her life because of hatred. For a while I kept thinking that her mother would come around and after a few years I gave up hoping. Well, in the last year her mother has totally changed her perspective and their relationship is back to where it once was. She now has a great relationship with my friend, her partner and their son - it's amazing to see the change. I know this doesn't happen for everyone .. just keep hoping them to change but do what ever you have to do for yourself.
