Hitchhiker's Sequels - Already

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy hasn't even been released, and Disney is already considering production of two multi-million dollar sequels to it. Robbie Stamp, executive producer of the film and Mr Adams' business partner, said a trilogy was being studied following positive preview responses to the long-awaited film. “There are more books in the series and we believe there could be a really good trilogy,” said Mr Stamp.

Yeah, but what about the 4th and 5th book in the trilogy?

Not surprising. They told us they would pursue more "franchise-type" films.

I'm sure whether these move forward or not is dependent on how well the first one does.
