Has anyone received a Ding in the past two days? Southwest had been doing the multi day dings for a while and all of sudden, I haven't recieved any Dings for about two days now. If you have received a Ding, would you please post a quick message so that I can have faith the Dings are not dead.

I can always count on my fellow dissers to help with the answers! I was just wondering what was up with the Dings too. Thought maybe they had a tracer on my computer and now that I really need a Ding it wouldn't be offered.
We are planning on driving (2,000+) miles, but man o man, if a super fantabulous fare comes through we'll be sharing the skies!

Unless you go the *really* long way around to WDW, it's probably 2600 miles for the whole trip. We've driven from NH ten? times and we're sort of used to it now.

We drive to just south of DC (Quantico to Fredericksburg) on the first day and then from there to Disney on the next. If you do the first leg after work on a Friday, it's possible but brutal. Friends took off the day after Christmas last year and said the traffic was so bad going south that it ended up taking them 3 days.

With this economy, watching fares is more of an idle pleasure than really looking.

Oops! that's what I meant down and back is about 2600 miles. We've driven (I believe) 12 times to go to disney. We've made the trek to FLA even more times than that cause we have family in West Palm Beach. The kids are older now and don't have to go with us every time so DH and I can fly now. Paying for 2 people to fly is a lot cheaper than paying for 6 people to fly. I can't wait!
